Who Is Afraid of the “Live Markets”?

Most everyone it would seem. Ever notice that virtually every training company, trading software package, mentorship or “system” out there that is going to be your next “Holy Grail” of trading seems to avoid the live markets like the plague. Sure, it’s one thing to show back-tested, curve-fitted, over-optimized reports of hypothetical past trades. It’s a whole other thing to actually train live in the market — make the calls as they are happening, train the “why” and the “how” and not after the fact like most other companies seem to.

You’d almost think that maybe they were afraid of the live market? Look, there’s no way to profit when trading by looking at charts when the market is closed and assuming you would have bought there or sold over there. Assuming that maybe you would have been smart enough to get out at the peak or avoid a losing trade altogether. Again, this is what so many do. And, frankly it’s easy and lazy and never going to yield real results for you.
